Isn't she (a) lovely lick
Beginner-intermediate pentatonic soloing
Here is a nice lick that works over the typical blues changes, but also sounds great over a lot of other styles. This lick is based around the minor pentatonic shape but adds a color note or two outside of it. I have also included the changes used in the intro to the video in the PDF. In this lesson you will learn how to play grace notes, how to slide into a note, how to do a 1/4 bend, how to take a single idea and use it in a multiple of ways, how to play over blues changes, playing in multiple octaves, and the chord changes to Isn’t she lovely by stevie wonder.
